Happy Memorial Day

Our Firm wants to wish everyone a very Happy Memorial Day! This is a holiday and observance that is very near and dear to Jim Cada’s heart, as a veteran himself. Jim had been active in veteran affairs for quite some time and we detail more about his involvement below.

Jim was born and raised on a farm north of Schuyler. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1970, obtaining the rank of staff Sgt., and leaving with a Purple Heart and honorable discharge. He graduated from UNL with a BS., MA., and JD. Jim’s practice of law includes personal injury, estate planning and probate, collection of business accounts, and establishment/representation of business and corporate entities.

Jim currently serves as the NE Aide to the Secretary of the Army, is on the Governor’s Advisory Commission, and serves as a board member of the Nebraska Veterans Council, which promotes legislation to help veterans. He’s been president of the State Veterans Home Board since 1998; and, since 1994 he has served on the Lancaster County Veterans Service Committee which provides an array of services for veterans.
