JUDY A. CADA

Judy A. Cada was born in the State of Nebraska and graduated with a diploma in nursing from Bryan Memorial School of Nursing in 1967. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Highest Distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 1976. She received her legal education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received her law degree in 1983.

Mrs. Cada was admitted to practice in the State of Nebraska in 1984 and practices in the State Courts of Nebraska.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Mrs. Cada was a charge nurse at Schuyler Memorial Hospital, Schuyler, Nebraska, a registered nurse with Bryan Memorial Hospital, a nursing instructor at Bryan Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, 1972-1973, and an Assistant Nursing Instructor at the College of Nursing – Lincoln Division, University of Nebraska Medical Center, 1977-1979. Mrs. Cada has been a practicing attorney in Lincoln, Nebraska since January of 1985.

AREAS OF PRACTICE

Due to her medical background and training, Mrs. Cada focuses her practice exclusively on representation of individuals involved in personal injury accidents, medical malpractice cases, and nurse licensure issues.

ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIPS

Mrs. Cada is an active member in the Nebraska Bar Association, the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, the Lincoln Bar Association, and the American Association of Nurse Attorneys. Mrs. Cada has served on the task force on expert nurse witnesses, American Association of Nurse Attorneys. Mrs. Cada has also served on the Dental Care Technical Committee, State Department of Health, the Board of Directors, Maturity Center, Women’s Clinic of Lincoln, P.C., and as the Chairman of the Junior Leagues Mental Health Project and past member of the Community Research Committee.
